Family Support America honors its relationship with the National Human Services Assembly
and cordially invites members to attend its 25th anniversary conference in Chicago, March
26-29, 2006. The National Assembly's Family Strengthening Policy Center is presenting at this not-to-be-missed
event. This conference is focusing on uniting family support, prevention and community-based
efforts to support and strengthen families.
The conference begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 26. There will be two pre-conference
institutes, special symposia (including the "Transforming Practice and Policy" symposium from
1:00-4:00 on Sunday), and training institutes throughout the day on Sunday. The opening plenary begins
at 4:30 p.m., followed by a welcoming reception. There will be over 150 workshops, symposia, institutes,
and dialogues representing multiple tracks including policy and advocacy, child welfare, parenting,
research and evaluation, child development, fatherhood, health, and more. The conference ends at
3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29.
