The National Human Services Assembly advises advocates to talk with Members of Congress and the Administration about setting high-level goals

The National Human Services Assembly advises advocates to talk with Members of Congress and the Administration about setting high-level goals for kids, families, older adults and people with disabilities. This will provide a framework for setting funding priorities, as opposed to suffering indiscriminate cuts across the board. The Assembly will be meeting with key Members of Congress on these issues in late November, and encourages NHSA members to get involved. NHSA’s one-page fact sheet urges a balanced approach to deficit reduction. For more information, contact Hayling Price, Policy Director at hprice@nassembly.org. 11/13/2012
