Can’t Breathe Easy Yet, More Cuts May Come in FY2012

The battle over FY 2012 is already underway and posing a threat to the wellbeing of low-income families – House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s budget plan would get nearly two-thirds of its $4.5 trillion in budget cuts over 10 years from programs that serve people of limited means.  Read the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities summary of the bill.  Also check out the Washington Post overview of the FY2012 proposed budget.
