Status Update: Steady Increase in Nonprofits Turning to Social Media

According to a survey of 1,173 nonprofits conducted in early 2010, use of social media as a marketing and fundraising tool is on the up and up – with largest presences on Facebook (86% up from 74%) and Twitter (60% up from 43% and a whopping 627% increase in community-size).
